Each year the Program in International Relations receives many more applications for our MA-degree program than available seats. As such, applicants are highly encouraged to apply by the Graduate School's deadline of January 4th for Fall admission and November 1st for Spring admission. IR at NYU is a small program—focused on our students with the goal of producing quality graduates, rather than quantity. Therefore, we keep the number of students we take quite low to ensure the level of quality and personal attention that defines the MA in IR at New York University.
